Glorious Adventures and Longboards

How does one begin when so many delightful things have occured in such a short space of time? Well logically it would make sense to unfold this epic tale of adventure and glory in chronological order. So here we go:

Monday the 19th of the month of November:

Out fierce trio embarked on the tastebud journey of the century. We made caramel out of marshmellows. Not possible you say? Oh, but it is. With the slight of hand we magically transformed marshmellows into caramel....with the added help of a little butter and brown sugar. We will all have clogged arteries, but I think i'm ok with it. Next we needed something tastey to put the caramel on-the solution: Popcorn. We proceeded to attempt to microwave popcorn. This you wouldn't expect to be challenging. I could make microwave popcorn when i was 5. Even babies can push the popcorn button and have popcorn magically appear 2 minutes and 45 seconds later. Not us. We burned about fifty bags.
But then the light clicked! Why not cook it in a pan? They did it in the olden days so why not now? We just ripped the popcorn bags open into the pan and observed. The popcorn kernals looked suddle and serene....But not for long. Suddenly kernals started popping up every which direction! Mad pandemoneum ensued! Faces became blurred, bodies were running, and voices were screaming as we tried to stir the popcorn without getting pelted with kernals! Eventually though, the popcorn was complete. We poured our delicious caramel over the top, waved a dash of sprinkles over the top at voi la!

P.S It tasted divine.

THANKSGIVING
Ok so next we need to talk about thanksgiving.

These are the BEAUTIFUL turkey hands we drew for our thanksgiving themed FHE. They were perfect for the decor, and added to the festivity of the mood.
How was my Thanksgiving break you ask??
Oh well let me tell you:

1) The break was wonderful and relaxing, i shopped, ate, slept, ate, watched movies, and shopped some more with my mom. I especially enjoyed the moderate California weather. No homework allowed.
However...
2) I drove 10 hours in the car with this couple and my beloved friend Jackie. Now we all know that if your going to make it alive in a ten hour car ride you need the essentials: Music. And we AAAALLLL know that the only kind of music that is bearable for ten hours is good ol' rock&roll/ Alternative. These people hadn't quite grasped this common knowledge, so I passed the time enduring rap (not so bad) and Country (created by satan). The moral of the story is:

-Country listeners beware. Your CD/ iPod will magically die next time.

oh, yes and i also expounded my knowledge of domestic skills such as cooking. I now know not to put marshmellows in the oven. Ever.

*It was in this very kitchen that the "blog song" was born. Ask Katie or Serena for a rendition of it if interested.

THE TALE OF THE EPIC LONGBOARD

Attention Males: This longboard is the love of my life. It is my one and only. Apologies.

jk.

After many days and nights of mooching off of friend's longboards, i made the choice to invest in my own. It was origionally 150, but i totally got it for 80 bucks. I've longboarded about twice a day. No, the magic is not lost yet. Yesterday i longboarded to smith's and got groceries. Not so wise, seeing as its no fun to have a backpack full of heavy groceries. But it was still fun. Anything is fun on the longboard. Even Falling.
For example: Ben told me i could slow a longboard down by lightly dragging my foot on the ground. I tried it. and FACE PLANTED. haha
The week of November 25-30
This week We all came back to reality. School, Tests, Life. Only 4 more weeks til chrismas break. And the countdown begins.
*P.S My fellow roomates i hope i have satisfied your demand for a blog. It is so long you will probably never want me to blog again. haha and that might turn out to be true considering i never get online.
" Why don't you go Blog About it."
-Dee mama. Peace Fools.
